Ancestral Lineage & Energy Work

My work is rooted not only in modern nervous system practices, but also in ancestral wisdom. I carry Babaylan lineage — a traditional Filipino spiritual healing lineage that honors intuitive guidance, energetic awareness, and the restoration of harmony within the body and spirit.

In my practice, this does not appear as performance or spectacle. It is integrated quietly and respectfully through intuitive perception, energetic recalibration, and foresight that supports your healing process.

This lineage informs how I listen, how I assess patterns, and how I hold space. It complements — rather than replaces — structured body-based healing methods.

You do not need to understand this tradition to benefit from the work. You only need to feel ready.

my Babaylan Story

When I was around the age of five, we were living in the Philippines. Clark Air Base was still a military base. I lived in a large community home on a street between two schools with my family,  my aunt and her three daughters (my cousins) and sometimes other relatives. Over the course of three days, I woke up with blood pooled and dried coming from first my nose, then my nose, eyes and mouth... and then my ears. My mother a devote catholic took me to see a female shaman, a witch-doctor, in a nearby mountain; instead of the base hospital.

Female shamans in the filipino culture are called Babaylans. There are only two ways of becoming one; you either apprentice under a known and skilled babaylan or you are chosen through a shamanic (unexplained) illness. I don't remember much after meeting the doctor. I remember the dirt floor of the hut, the elixir she said was rain water and the bamboo walls of the hut. After this encounter, I began my own shamanic walk as a babaylan with the all the gifts and abilities that come with being spiritually chosen.

Education and Certifications

Quantum Healing -  Kansas

Completed an immersive, onsite energy training course, Quantum Healing. This form of training allowed me to work on containing and funneling my energetic babaylan abilities. I took what I learned from this course and used in conjunction with my intuitive training to learn how to expand, transmute and cultivate personal energy.

Institute of Integral Yoga - Coimbatore, India

Completed an intense immersion certification course for Integral Hatha Yoga to deepen my yogic studies through daily immersions, practices and rituals. This training changed my course of practice; incorporating sanskrit chanting, om, yoga nidra, pranayama and meditations.

Institute of Integral Yoga - Satchidananda Ashram

Completed Yoga Nidra certification training, an immersion course held at a US ashram that changed the trajectory of my life path.

IIN, Institute of Integrative Nutrition

Completed the year long certification course for personal life coaching and guidance for groups and 1 on 1 sessions. Specializing in bio-individuality, intuitive living and finding your purpose.

TRE - Trauma Release (Wisconsin)

Attended initial training certification guided by Dr. David Bercelli, founder of TRE, Trauma Release Exercises. This was the first section of the training phase. I was fortunate to be asked along with a few others to be used as an example and be worked on by Dr. David Bercelli himself.

TRE - Trauma Release (Colorado)

Attended training certification course under Paul Darby, my second phase of TRE training. *I wanted to blend other modalities and practices into a class. This is not allowed under TRE regulations. After completing the in-person training and some of the zoom trainings, I decided to leave the structured practice to create a blend that would incorporate yoga modalities and chose not to complete the TRE training zoom sessions.

Hatha Yoga Teacher Training (Oklahoma)

Completed a certified Yoga Teacher Training. I took this course to better understand the yoga I was already doing since I was young. Taking this training during a time when yoga was new to Oklahoma was a challenge. In order to be hired by a school, I was told I would have to change my verbiage. I choose not to and continued on my own personal path of practicing.

Bachelors in Arts (BA) in Sociology

I didn't even know I had a degree until I began the 75 Hard Challenge and decided to look for a book in my attic. I went on to the University of Oklahoma to work towards my Master's in Museum Studies, but after working in the museum I choose to not complete my masters and move in a different direction. Trauma does that to you; you forget what you're working towards... you keep working never realizing you've reached your destination a long time ago.

Extracurricular Training

4 X 4 X 48

David Goggin's Challenge. 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours. My challenge time began on Friday, 10pm CST ending after 13 stages on Sunday evening. (2021, 2022, 2023)

75 HARD

75 days of no fail accountability. 2, 45 min workouts / day with 3 hours between and 1 of them in the elements. gallon of water / day. progress pic. 10 pages reading / day of non fiction. stick to a meal plan. no junk food / treats. no alcohol. (2021, 2022.)

Solo Trek Nepal

After India, I decided to wing it in Nepal and solo-trek with no plan and only a backpack and my journal (2019 - BucketList)

Camino de Santiago

solo walked 500 miles across Spain on the Frances Route; carrying everything on my back (2024 - BucketList)

Portugal

This was the best mistake I've ever made. After walking across Spain, I took the suggestion of going to Portugal. I haven't been in a surf since I was little. I spent a couple days in back in the ocean facing my fears and getting back on a board. (2024 - BucketList)
